Assassinating Vladimir Putin is the “top priority” of the Ukrainian secret service

Vladimir Putin assassinated by the Ukrainian secret services? This is not the scenario of a spy movie, but the ambition of Vadym Skibitsky, deputy director of the kyiv military intelligence services. In an interview given to the German newspaper Die Welthe reveals his plans to kill the master of the Kremlin.

According to Vadym Skibitsky, the death of russian president would currently be “top priority” of his services. “He is at the top of our list” assures the spymaster. For him, the war in Ukraine will end only with the death of the commander-in-chief of the Russian army, who “coordinate” the offense and “decide what happens” on the front.

But Vladimir Putin is not the only one to be targeted by kyiv. The Deputy Director of Intelligence claims that Yevgueni Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner mercenary groupwould also be a target.

“We are trying to kill him”, he acknowledges. Vadym Skibitsky nevertheless believes that the priority remains to assassinate Putin, and thus cut off the hand that controls Wagner. “Our priority is to eliminate the commander who orders his men to attack”he says.

On the night of May 2 to 3, the Kremlin was reportedly targeted by a drone attackpresented by the Russian authorities as an attempted murder against Vladimir Putin.

kyiv has formally denied any responsibility for this attack. Moscow had also pointed the finger at the responsibility of the United States. However, Washington has discouraged since the beginning of the conflict any hint of a Ukrainian attack on Russian soil.
