Actor and director from Indonesia, Baim Wong admitted to avoiding reading negative comments on social media related to his divorce with Paula Verhoeven.
Baim said that the matter was done for the good because of his sensitive nature.
“Some need to be read and some are not. I’m a sensitive person, sometimes when I read it, I think. So, better not read.
“But I never blame people and don’t hold a grudge against people who speak negatively because that negative energy will return to us.
“So, I am just the way I am.
Do what work and from before, I’m like this. I didn’t even know it would happen like this (divorce). Just pray for the best,” he said at the screening of his first film, Lembayung, at GSC Tropicana Gardens Mall, yesterday.
Baim filed for divorce against Paula Verhoeven at the South Jakarta Religious Court on October 7, reported BH Online.
Baim said his divorce process is still ongoing and asked for good prayers for his family and Paula.
“Strength comes from yourself, don’t hate anyone and if you’re honest, you don’t need to be afraid. That’s it,” he said.
When asked if he was still in contact with his ex-wife, Baim said yes.
“Yes, we are still in touch via WhatsApp. Just pray for the best,” he said simply.
Baim also shared that he had no problem seeing Paula’s appearance in the movie Lembayung. – Agency
