BEREA, Ohio — The Berea Garden Club has decorated the Berea Historical Society’s Mahler Museum for the upcoming holidays and in time for the society’s annual Victorian Tea.
The 50-member garden club was founded in 1928. Members maintain the grounds of the museum and decorate it inside and out. They also maintain a garden at Coe Lake.
The Victorian Christmas Tea is 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 8 and is free. Visitors can tour the museum and shop the museum store while snacking on tea, wassail and tasty treats provided by museum volunteers.
The garden club also is holding its annual Greens Sale from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 and Dec. 7 at the historical society.
Fresh, homemade wreaths and other holiday décor will be available. Proceeds benefit the club’s scholarship fund.
