The second event, Speaking with Purpose, will be delivered by executive coach Andy Hall.

Andy will share his experience and struggles in overcoming poor mental and physical health to become a mentor, coach, leader, speaker, and podcast host, for people in business to upskill and combat their fears.

Andy has spoken at and curated TEDx events and appeared on TV and radio.

The event will be held on Thursday, March 16 between 10am and 12 noon, at Bolton Central Library’s Lecture Theatre in Le Mans Crescent.

This session will include the benefits of public speaking, how to craft a personal story in your own style, speaking techniques and methods, live talks, presenting tips and tricks and a Q&A.

The event is also free and can be booked via Eventbrite.

Bolton Council’s Executive Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Cllr Adele Warren, said: “These events further our commitment to supporting local businesses.

“They provide invaluable advice to those already running a business as well as anyone interested in starting one.

“It’s important that our business community is connected up, so these events are also a chance to meet up with fellow business owners and entrepreneurs to network and share ideas.

“I would encourage anyone who is interested in boosting their business knowledge to attend and take advantage of the free expert advice.”

Both events are hosted by Bolton Library’s Business & Intellectual Property Centre, a national network of business support at libraries which is led by The British Library.
