Former professional boxer Regina Halmich says she enjoys her life without a partner. “No man would probably take part in the preparation for a fight like that,” the 47-year-old told the magazine “Bunte” (Thursday) with a view to her upcoming boxing match against entertainer Stefan Raab (57).
The former boxing world champion stressed that she is “quite happy” on her own, “because I can do a lot with myself and have great friends and a happy family.” Occasionally, however, she also finds a man interesting, she said. “I live that out.” When dating, the character of the partner is more important to her than his appearance: “A man who knows where he stands in life – that’s attractive to me.”
Halmich will compete in a boxing match against presenter Stefan Raab on Saturday. RTL will broadcast the spectacle live from Düsseldorf. For Raab, it is a comeback on screen. In 2015, he actually said goodbye to his viewers.
