Car strikes transformer in east Wichita, over 1,100 without power

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – First responders are in east Wichita, where a car has struck a transformer.

It happened around 9:20 p.m. near the intersection of Rock Road and Kellogg Avenue.

Sedgwick County Dispatch confirms that a car crashed into a transformer in this location and that no one was injured.

The Evergy Outage Map shows that 1,113 people are without power in the area.
