His loving wife has been supporting him since the announcement and has now shared an adorable throwback of the pair showing off how much they had changed.
The presenter took to her Instagram to share a video with the first picture being of the couple presenting together on Fame Academy.
In this picture, Cat was wearing a grey silk dress with black heels while Patrick was in an all-black suit with a matching shirt.
She then posted a picture of the pair at this year’s IFTAs looking incredibly glamorous.
Cat was wearing a beautiful white dress while Patrick looked dapper in a black suit, a white shirt and a black dickie bow.
