Champions League: Brest and Monaco at the top, PSG struggling… the ranking after four days

Clearly, ecstasy never runs out of steam among the Bretons! This Wednesday evening, Stade Brestois defeated Sparta Praguein Czechia (1-2), and recorded a third success in four days of Champions League. With ten points, he ranks fourth. Fantastic.

Even crazier, Brest is not the best French club in the competition. AS Monaco, which imposed at the very end of the match in Bologna Tuesday evening (0-1), also has ten points. But she scored more goals than the Bretons, and therefore took third place in the league phase standings. Sporting Portugal and Inter have the same number of points. Only Liverpool does better, with twelve units, since the English club has won all its matches.

In the North, it’s not bad either. Lille has seven points on the clock after his draw against JuventusTuesday at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium (1-1). Fallers of Real (1-0) and Atlético de Madrid (1-3), the Mastiffs once again stood up to a big one from Europe. A good omen for the rest of the competition. Fourteenth in the ranking, LOSC only lost against Sporting Portugal on the first day (2-0).

Finally, the bad tricolor student is the least expected of all. THE Paris Saint-Germain has obviously forgotten to revise his lesson and puts on the dunce cap. Defeated at the Parc des Princes by Atlético de Madrid this Wednesday (1-2), it only has four small points. The situation is becoming worrying for the capital club which is only 25th in the ranking and, at present, is not one of the teams qualified for the play-offs.
