In addition, the price of clothing and shoes by 4.5 percent also contributed to the decrease in the non-food index.

For a month-to-month comparison, the October 2024 CPI decreased by 0.3 percent from September 2024, following a decrease in the food and soft drinks index; and the non-food index of 0.1 percent and 0.3 percent respectively.
