BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 21 – Bandar Seri Begawan Arab Preparatory School, today, organized the Hayya Ilal Arabiyyah Program (Let’s Speak Arabic) by holding a Musabaqah Al-Hiwar (Dialogue Competition) held in the school hall.
Present as a special guest of the ceremony, the Head of the Examination Division, Department of Islamic Studies (JPI), Ministry of Religious Affairs (KHEU), Awang Azman bin Haji Jaya.
The ceremony started with the recitation of Selawat Tafrijiyyah, Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a speech from the Headmaster of Bandar Seri Begawan Arabic Preparatory School, Pengiran Hasinol Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Piut.
The ceremony then continued with a dialogue competition participated by the students who were divided into nine groups, and then followed by a video screening and presentation of prizes completed by special guests of the ceremony.
The program was held to train and encourage students to interact in Arabic.
In addition, it is also one of JPI’s initiatives run by Arab schools to strengthen the mastery of the Arabic language, in addition to fostering a healthy competitive spirit among Arab school students.
