Decline on the Oslo Stock Exchange

Economy and business: The Equinor share was the most traded and ended with a decrease of 0.38 per cent. For Norsk Hydro, which had the second highest turnover, the decrease was 2.03 per cent. DNB was the third most traded and fell by 1.5 per cent.

Schibsted did the best of the top-selling ones. The company’s A and B shares increased by 3.72 and 2.35 per cent respectively.

Just before 5.30 pm, a barrel of North Sea oil went for around USD 83.6 a barrel, a decrease of just over 0.7 per cent.

The other leading European stock exchanges also went into the red on Wednesday. The decline was greatest for the main index of the French CAC 40, which decreased by 1.51 per cent. Germany’s DAX 30 fell 1.09 percent, while the FTSE in London fell 0.85 percent.
