Business: Dogger Bank C is the third of a total of three offshore wind platforms that Aibel delivers to Dogger Bank. The platform arrives from Aibel’s shipyard in Thailand after a seven-week sailing trip.

– We are planning load-in to the quay on Monday. The platform will go out to the field in the first quarter of 2025, says communications manager Mona Winge at Aibel to Haugesund’s newspaper.

Aibel and partner HitatchiEnergy will work 100,000 hours on Dogger Bank C before it is towed out to the field outside the UK. At the end of June, the heavy lifting campaign begins, which involves lifting transformers on board the platform, writes the newspaper.

The Dogger Bank projects consist of large converter modules to be placed on platforms in the Doggerbank offshore wind farm.

Aibel has a significant order reserve, worth NOK 30 billion over the next five years, writes the newspaper.
