A look at Wednesday’s Edmonton weather from Environment Canada.

It’s -10 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station with 5 km/h winds blowing southsoutheast and a wind chill of -13.

If you thought the roads were bad on Tuesday and were hoping this forecast would bring some sunny reprieve soon, I have some bad news for you.

Wednesday starts with periods of light snow, blown in on 15 km/h winds, with a high of -8 C and a wind chill of -13 in the afternoon. The winds will persist overnight, bringing a 60 per cent chance of flurries and a wind chill near -16. The clouds and winds will remain into Thursday, with a high of -6 C and wind chill of -16 by the afternoon.

The weekend seems promising, with temperatures above -10 C and lots of sunshine. Then again, it’s Alberta, so it could all change on a dime!
