“Fernando Gomes’ funeral will take place this Sunday, November 27th, at 3 pm, at the Church of Santo António das Antas. The funeral of the Bibota de Ouro will take place this Saturday, from 19:00 until 22:30, and this Sunday, from 11:00, in the Mortuary Chapel of the Church of Santo António das Antas”, says the club in a statement.
The death of Fernando Gomes was communicated today by FC Porto, a club in which the forward played since the youth levels and which he represented in 13 seasons in the main division.
