
44 COVID-19 patients are being treated at OKYPY hospitals
The Ministry of Health announces that for the week of March 3 – 9, 2023:
– 5 deaths were announced
– Relate to:
· Woman, aged 96, who passed away on 02/03/2023
· Woman, aged 88, who passed away on 03/04/2023
· Male, aged 84, who died on 04/03/2023
· Male, aged 81, who died on 05/03/2023
· Male, aged 49, who died on 07/03/2023
– Total number of deaths with a final cause of the disease COVID-19: 1,335.
– 44 COVID-19 patients are being treated at OKYPY hospitals
– 9 in serious condition (ICU: 3 off ventilator/6 intubated)
– 6 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in the Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic examinations:
– A total of 59,293 diagnostic tests were performed
– 1,701 new cases were detected (total number of cases 652,386).
– Positive rate in all exams 2.87%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
– 1,542 molecular tests were performed
– There were 141 positive cases
– 9.14% positivity rate
Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (Rapid Test):
– 57,751 rapid antigen detection tests were performed
– There were 1,560 positive cases
– 2.7% positivity rate
Private initiative:
– 1,064 molecular tests were performed, 74 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 6.95%)
– 32,131 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 1,390 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 4.33%)
Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 25,620 rapid antigen detection tests were performed. 170 positive cases were identified.
– Sampling points: 17,764 rapid detection tests, 131 positive cases detected (positivity rate 0.74%)
Education
– Primary Education: 143 rapid antigen detection tests, no positive cases detected (positivity rate 0%)
– Secondary Education: 442 rapid detection tests, no positive cases detected (positivity rate 0%)
But
– Nursing homes: 4,905 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 35 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0.71%)
– Closed structures: 2,366 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 4 new cases were detected (positivity rate 0.17%).
