SANDUSKY, Ohio — A former employee of Sandusky City Schools accused of having sexual contact with teen minor has pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful sexual conduct as part of a plea deal.
Huron County Common Pleas Court records show Terrin Schnee, 39, of Sandusky, pleaded guilty last week. He faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine on each count. He must register as a Tier II sex offender for the next 25 years, records show.
As part of the plea deal, five counts of sexual imposition and one count of an attempt to commit unlawful sexual conduct with a minor were dismissed. Schnee is scheduled to be sentence on Nov. 14. He remains free on bond.
The Sandusky Register reports Schnee was an intervention specialist for Sandusky City Schools. An indictment accused him of having sexual contact with a child between the ages of 13 and 16 years old between Jan. 7 and Feb. 3. The indictment doesn’t specify if the victim was a student.
Schnee was placed on leave in March and was fired in September, reports say.
