War and conflicts: – It is a common anti-Semitic move to hold Israelis collectively responsible for the actions of their government or army, which they themselves often condemn, says the German government’s anti-Semitism commissioner Felix Klein to the German newspaper Funke Mediengruppe.

– The progressive Israeli cultural scene in particular is already suffering significantly from this and is becoming increasingly isolated internationally, he says.

During Eurovision, Swedish police reported demonstrations in Malmö against Israel’s participation in the song contest. Malmö police had to carry away protesters who did not obey orders. At one point, one of the train stations near the Malmö arena was closed until the police could guarantee safety.
