Singer Hafiz Suip said he is now living in Kuching, Sarawak because he wants to take care of his parents.
Hafiz or Mohamad Hafiz Mohamad Suip, 34, said his mother, Halizawati Salleh, 60, is currently facing health problems and is being treated at a medical center in Kuching.
“If you follow me now, my mother is in the hospital ward because she has a watery lung problem that affects the heart.
“What can I say about my mother’s condition, information from the doctor told me that three of her four heart valves are not functioning properly… In addition, now my mother also has diabetes, so that is what made me stay in Kuching,” he told mStar.
Hafiz shared that when met at the 39th Muzik-Muzik Semi-Final (SFMM39) held at Studio 1, Glenmarie, Shah Alam last night.
In the meantime, Hafiz said that at first he was reluctant to go to Kuala Lumpur to make the SFMM39 night a success, but his own mother encouraged him not to let his fans down.
Hafiz said, the support he received from his mother was a reinforcement for him to continue performing and performing songs Keep Shining.
“My mother wishes me the best for my involvement in SFMM39. So my mother also encouraged me to continue the performance tonight,” he said.
