Bank: Haugesund Sparebank has previously announced plans to go public this summer. They have now applied for admission to trading on Oslo Børs, according to a stock exchange announcement before the weekend, reports Finanswatch.

It was this winter that Haugesund Sparebank and Tysnes Sparebank announced that they wanted to merge. The new, merged bank will be listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

Tysnes Sparebank is admitted to trading on Euronext Growth, but will cease to exist upon the merger. As a result, Haugesund Sparebank will have to apply for a listing on the stock exchange with the aim of maintaining the listing of the merged bank, writes the newspaper.

In a stock exchange announcement from March, it is stated that there will not be an offer of equity certificates in connection with the stock exchange listing.
