CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns will be without Deshaun Watson for the first six games of the season after the ruling from NFL disciplinary officer Sue L. Robinson on Monday.
The team traded for Watson back in March, but the ceiling for the 2022 season was always murky because it was unclear until Monday how long Watson will be out. The suspension could change if the NFL chooses to appeal the decision in the next three days.
But as of now, there’s clarity on Watson and his status for the season.
So spinning it forward to the 2022 season, what does it mean for the Browns and their odds to win Super Bowl 57?
VegasInsider.com’s consensus odds have the Browns as +2660 to win the Super Bowl. In other words, a $100 bet on the Browns to win the Super Bowl would net $2,660 if it happened. Those are the 13th-best odds in the NFL right now, one spot behind the Colts (+2320). The Bills are the favorite right now at +605.
According to Oddschecker.com, the Browns now have +2500 odds to win the Super Bowl, which is down from +3000 prior to the news. They also noted that the Browns now have the same Super Bowl odds as the Bengals and Ravens.
