The opportunities to run the snow map during what has been largely a snowless winter have been few and far between, not only in central Pa. but for many areas across the Northeast.
Even the forecast for snow tonight and into Tuesday morning doesn’t cover that much of the state. For Harrisburg, York and Lancaster, there is a chance of rain and snow overnight that might leave a coating in some areas to nothing in others.
It’s only when you get to spots north of Harrisburg that there’s a chance of an inch or two of snow, and a little more than that in parts of Clinton, Lycoming and Centre countries. For example, here’s the link to the forecast for Williamsport and vicinity, where as much as 4 inches is forecast.
