Hunting Valley home nets almost $4 million; highest priced sale in Cuyahoga County in September

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Eleven Cuyahoga County homes nabbed at least $1.25 million in September, with the top home sale getting $3.8 million, according to county records.

The multi-million dollar deal occurred for a property in Hunting Valley. The other 10 homes sold for at least $1.25 million were located in Brecksville, Chagrin Falls Cleveland, Olmsted Falls, Pepper Pike, Rocky River and Westlake, as well as two in Shaker Heights and an additional home in Hunting Valley.

These sales were part of a month in which nearly two dozen homes were sold for at least $1 million, the second month in a row to do so.

The $3.8 million Hunting Valley purchase was located off Shaker Boulevard near the Pepper Pike Club. It is a single-family colonial home built in 2005. It includes seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, and three half baths. The property also has a five-car detached garage and sits on a 14.33-acre lot.

This is the second-highest sale of 2024 so far, behind a $5 million North Royalton home and land sale in August and ahead of a $3.5 million home in Westlake in July.

In September 2023, eleven homes were also sold for $1.25 million, with the top home also being in Hunting Valley. However, that home was only worth $2.25 million.
