Jad Turjman
Born 1989 in Damascus. Studied English literature, worked in the city administration of Damascus until he escaped in 2014. Jad Turjman learned German in record time, lived in Salzburg and was an author and comedian. He has been performing with his first solo program, “The Refugee You Trust” since 2020. Most recently, his book “The Smell of the Soul” was published by Residenz Verlag.
On July 29th, 2022 he had a fatal accident while mountaineering in the Berchtesgadener Land.
