Inclusive Soccer Training Program builds self-confidence

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 26 – The Inclusive Football Training Program which received an overwhelming response has succeeded in fostering self-confidence and skill development by bringing together various backgrounds among grassroots and youth football players.

The session organized by Beechamps FC with the support of Yakin Football League, yesterday, was attended by 14 Beechamps FC academy players in addition to the participation of children from the Able Association representing the Down Syndrome community.

Beechamps FC manager, Siti Nurhaziqah binti Okay during the event at Berakas Sports Complex Field, explained that the program emphasizes the importance of inclusivity in football.

“We aim to improve relationships and self-confidence while providing opportunities for participants to interact, learn and build self-confidence, in addition to improving soccer playing skills, aspects of friendship and mutual respect are also implemented in this program,” he explained.

The program includes, among other things, skills training activities, Including Small-Sided Drills and friendly matches among the participants, and was conducted by Beechamps FC head coach, Muhd ​​Hakimi Abdullah.
