Big guns fire in Cork hurling championships but Glen and Tracton go down

THE Echo Sport Podcast, in association with our friends from O’Sullivan Brothers DIY, is here to keep you up to speed with all the action in the Cork Club Championships.

Éamonn Murphy and our GAA experts Denis Hurley and Barry O’Mahony analyse the hurling quarter-final and relegation action. They pick their Hurler of the Week and Team of the Week.

Sars, Barrs and Imokilly showed their class, Castlelyons got back on track and Mayfield upset the odds while Glen Rovers and Tracton were among the clubs that paid a high price for poor seasons in the relegation playoff.

Brian O’Sullivan, Jamie Burns, Colm Casey, Ben Heffernan and Dave O’Neill were the leading contenders for standout performers.

The matches you need to catch in the football competitions are previewed, including Nemo-Clon, Haven-Ballincollig and Iveleary against Cill na Martra.

Every Tuesday morning on Echolive.ie/Podcast/ and all the podcast platforms, we’ll be breaking everything you need to know about the Cork GAA club scene.
