Justin Timberlake walked the red carpet hand-in-hand with wife Jessica Biel at a Trolls screening after bombshell revelations from Britney Spears’ memoir.
While The Woman in Me memoir focused on Britney’s life in the spotlight, that included a lot of revelations about her time with the NSYNC star and allegations of a brutal breakup over text.
Justin, 42, and Britney, 41, were one of the most famous celebrity couples in the world as the then-teenage pop stars enjoyed a three-year romance between 1999 and 2002.
When the book was published the Cry Me A River singer chose to switch off comments on his Instagram in response to angry fans while bandmate Lance Bass asked for forgiveness.
Keeping a low profile since the launch, he first surfaced for a party with friends Pharrell Williams and Nigo just days ago but has now been seen putting on a united front with Jessica Biel, 41.
The pair, who wed in 2012, appeared for a special screening of Trolls: Band Together which Justin stars in as a Troll named Branch, reprising the role from previous films.
They smiled and laughed together at the Los Angeles event, wearing co-ordinating black outfits with silver accents, very much looking like a strong couple.
Neither has spoken on the bombshell memoir, which included the revelation that Britney had an abortion and sobbed on the bathroom floor while Justin played guitar to her.
The Circus singer shared a gut wrenching caveat that she would have kept the baby if she was on her own, which devastated her two sons to read.
‘But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young,’ she penned in her book.
She accused the Mirror singer of cheating on her but she also confessed to cheating on him with her dancer – not the healthiest of relationships, then.
On a lighter note fans also got the truth behind their iconic double denim couples look, which apparently started off as a joke.
Britney and Justin were together until 2002, with the latter allegedly breaking things off with a two-word text message, much to Britney’s heartache.
Five years later he began dating Jessica, with the two women reported to be at odds after the Rules of Attraction actress seemed to take aim at Britney.
‘Life’s too short to wear mediocre underwear,’ she tweeted in 2014 coincidentally right when the Baby One More Time hitmaker launched her own underwear collection.
Jessica has never publicly commented on Britney or Justin’s past, with the pair now settled and raising two children together; Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3.
Britney’s memoir caused waves around Hollywood but it’s her sister who could be about to cause trouble as Jamie Lynn Spears, 32, heads into the jungle.
The controversial Zoey 101 star has joined the campmates on I’m A Celeb, so who knows what bombshells could be still to come.
