Adriana Lima ditches make-up after clapping back as trolls

Adriana Lima was glowing as she rocked a make-up-free look during a dog walk with her beau Andre Lemmers.

The Brazillian supermodel, 42, stepped out with a bare face, black hoodie, and matching leggings as she walked the couple’s dog in Los Angeles.

Adriana, who began dating Andre in 2021 and welcomed her third child with last year, beamed as he stroked her face during a sweet moment between the pair.

The outing comes after the Victoria’s Secret icon clapped back at shocked fans who branded her ‘unrecognisable’ during a red carpet appearance.

She left fans speechless after she attended the Hunger Games: The Balland Of Songbirds and Snakes premiere in LA on Tuesday looking notably different.

After cruel trolls speculated online that she had undergone a ‘facelift’ and that ‘clear swelling’ was visible during the event, she took to Instagram to address the rumours.

Sharing a make-up-free selfie on her Instagram Stories, she wrote: ‘This is the face of a tired mom of one teenage girl, two pre-teens, one active boy, a one-year-old learning to walk, and three dogs… thanks for your concern.’

Following her post, many fans praised her for being ‘brave’ and sharing the realities of motherhood and her insecurities.

One fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter): ‘I think it’s really brave of her to be so honest and open about her insecurities because it’s something that so many women struggle with, especially after having a baby.

‘It’s refreshing to see someone in the spotlight admitting that they have to work on accepting themselves and their bodies.

‘And her point about age and how your body reacts differently as you get older is so true – it’s a natural part of life and something that everyone goes through, but it’s still a difficult adjustment for many people.

‘I hope her message helps other women feel less alone in their own struggles with body acceptance and self-love.’

Another wrote: ‘Another day of screaming into the void. Just saw Adriana Lima getting criticised for having “too much” plastic surgery. At first, society criticises women for aging naturally (like Sarah Jessica Parker), then for trying to avoid it.’

Adriana, who returned to Victoria’s Secret in her 40s, spoke to People about how she endeavours to inspire others with the move, including her daughters Sienna, 11, and Valentina, 14, who she shared with ex-husband Marko Jarić.

‘As you can see with the campaign, I [helped] change the fashion industry in a way that every woman, every lady is accepted in every stage of their life no matter how old they are and accepted in fashion,’ she said.

‘That’s my goal and that’s the reason I’m still modelling, still persisting, in being a part of the fashion industry. I think the industry is accepting that, and it’s really wonderful to see.’
