On Thursday, November 16, both Academy Award-nominated actress and Grammy Award-winning pop star Dua Lipa were in attendance at the 2023 Variety Power Of Women event at Mother Wolf in Los Angeles, California.
While the pair have been seen together before given that they both starred in Barbie, photos and videos of the pair taking photos prior to the event began to go viral for obvious reasons. One photo of the pair, for example, has racked up over 2.6 million views on Twitter (at the time of this writing).
The pre-event pics weren’t the only things to go viral, however, as Robbie’s speech during the event — which was given by her husband Tom Ackerley because she apparently lost her voice — also made headlines given the fact that the 33-year-old A-list actress admitted that she, like the rest of us, has a crush on the 28-year-old Lipa.

In Barbie — which is the highest grossing film of 2023 and is expected to be nominated for numerous Academy Awards — Robbie (who also produced the film) stars as the titular doll while Lipa, who also recorded the lead single “Dance the Night” for the soundtrack, features as Mermaid Barbie.
