Iran and Saudi Arabia have agreed to restore diplomatic ties, an Iranian state-affiliated media reported Friday, March 10, citing a joint statement from the two Middle Eastern heavyweights whose ties had since been broken. 2016.
“ Following talks, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia agreed to resume diplomatic relations and to reopen embassies and (diplomatic) representations within a maximum period of two months”said the Irna agency, quoting the press release.
