CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cavs’ recent layoff led to renewed health.
Sources tell cleveland.com that defense-first swingman Isaac Okoro, listed as questionable going into the night, will return Sunday against the Toronto Raptors.
Okoro, who sprained his ankle on Nov. 17 and missed the previous two games, went through Saturday’s practice Saturday and then conducted a pregame workout ahead of tipoff without any issues. Sources say Okoro will start alongside Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen.
Despite Okoro being cleared, Cleveland is still without Dean Wade and Caris LeVert because of injury.
In 15 games, including eight starts, Okoro is averaging 5.9 points on 49.2% from the field and 44.4$ from 3-point range to go with 2.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
