NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — When I first saw Reba on the Cleveland Animal Protective League website, all I noticed was her sweet little face.
Eventually, after looking at more pictures of her, I realized she was missing one of her back legs.
I was touched by the sad story of how she had lost her leg, so I visited her at the APL. As the adoption counselor brought her into the room to meet me, I said, “Do you want to come home with me?”
She ran to me, I took her home and she is doing great.
Reba is sweet and good-natured in spite of all she suffered in the past, and I will make sure her life with us is a happy one.
