For the game: “Congratulations to my players for the mentality and spirit they had. It was important, we needed it. It was a derby, position doesn’t matter. Probably the most important game of the season, I’m happy that the players understood it, worked hard and won.”
For the tactics that followed: “We prepared to press and have possession but we also prepared to defend and give space. We had a lot of problems, the right back played left, a midfielder on the right wing. Then Donio had a problem, it was difficult to manage the game. After our goal we put pressure on the ball and closed the space on AEL. We know that they are organized in defense, they concede few goals, we closed the space after our goal and created space for us on the counter attack”.
