The quick action of singer Jon Bon Jovi managed to save the life of a woman who was determined to jump from a bridge in the city of Nashville, United States last Tuesday.
The matter was conveyed by the Metro Nashville Police Department who praised the efforts of the singer to persuade the woman to get off the bridge.
“Thank you Jon Bon Jovi and his team for helping a woman on the bridge on Tuesday night. Bon Jovi managed to convince the woman to get off the cliff safely,” he said through a tweet on the X application.
In the meantime, the police also hope that the good deeds done by Bon Jovi can be emulated by the community.
“What Jon did today should be emulated by others. We all need to work together to help each other,” he said.
Bon Jovi was reportedly in the area filming a music video before catching a glimpse of a woman climbing over the railing of the bridge.
Through viral videos, singers It’s My Life was seen approaching the woman and talking to her. Soon after, Bon Jovi grabbed the woman’s hand and helped her step over the bridge railing. – Agency
