WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A 56-year-old Kansas man was killed in a crash in Junction City. It happened Tuesday night on U.S. Highway 77 around 5 p.m.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says a Subaru Outback, driven by a 45-year-old Junction City woman, was northbound on U.S. 77 when it crossed the center line and struck an Infiniti G37. The G37 entered the west ditch and struck a guard rail. The patrol says the Outback continued north and again crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Ford Fusion.
The driver of the Fusion, Bradley S. Linton of Enterprise, was killed in the crash. The driver of the Outback was taken to Stormont-Vail in Topeka with suspected serious injuries. A 21-year-old Oklahoma man who was driving the G37 was not injured.
The KHP says all drivers were wearing seat belts.
