TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Corporation Commission is working to develop the Kansas Home Rebates Program.
The KCC says the program will be for low—to moderate-income households in Kansas. It is partnering with HORNE, a professional services firm, to help develop and create it.
The KCC is hosting a series of engagement sessions across Kansas and online this month with stakeholders, including utilities, contractors, other state agencies, and the community. The Department of Energy must receive final program designs and grant applications by Jan. 31, 2025.
If approved, the rebate program will be implemented later in the year. For more information, click here.
