MENTOR, Ohio — Coming off an 11-win season in which it overcame injuries at quarterback and throughout the offense, Kenston returns some of its top playmakers with aspirations of an even better finish.
Quarterback Nikko Georgiou and junior Sean Patrick are among them.
Patrick (1,391 yards, 12 TDs) started at cornerback as a freshman and moved to running back last year, earning All-Ohio honors in Division III and a spot on the Northeast Lakes District first team. Ben DiMarco (67 solo tackles, eight TFL, four interceptions) earned similar honors on defense. He leads that side of the ball with Lucas Simmons (35 tackles, three interceptions) and Logan Toft (42 tackles, one interception) in the secondary, while a full season with Georgiou (1,230 yards, 14 TDs to four interceptions) can be big for the Bombers after injuries took their tolls on the offense last year.
