BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 01 – Hadhramout University, Yemen yesterday visited the Seri Begawan Religious Teaching University College (KUPU SB) to discuss cooperation opportunities, especially in the field of teacher education, student exchange, community involvement, joint research implementation and conference organization and seminars.
The visit which took place in the Taqwa Room, KUPU SB was welcomed by the Ra’es KUPU SB, Associate Professor Dr Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani who then chaired the joint discussion.
This visit continued with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between KUPU SB and Hadhramout University. Signing on behalf of KUPU SB is Ra’es KUPU SB, while on behalf of Hadhramout University it is signed by the president of the university, Professor Dr Mohammed Saeed Khanbash.
Before signing the MOU, Ra’es KUPU SB, first welcomed the arrival of the delegation and hoped that with the signing of the MOU they would be able to establish more cooperative relationships that could be explored in certain fields.
Attending the signing ceremony of the MOU were the assistant Raes KUPU SB, the main officers of KUPU SB, the academic deputy president of Hadhramaout University and four other delegates.
On the same day, KUPU SB received a visit from Islamic University Negeri Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UINSSC), Indonesia led by the Rector of UINSSC, Professor Dr Aan Jaelani located in the Wisdom Room, KUPU SB.
Welcoming on behalf of KUPU SB was the Assistant Ra’es (Research, Internationalization, Services), His Excellency Dr Haji Abang Hadzmin bin Haji Abang Taha as well as several key officials of KUPU SB.
Earlier, a briefing on the background and academic program of KUPU SB was delivered by the Director of the International Office and Public Relations of KUPU SB, Yang Mulia Pengiran Siti Katijah binti Pengiran Sulaiman.
The visit also continued with the signing of an MOU between KUPU SB and UINSSC for the implementation of cooperation in several academic fields including research, student exchange and community involvement.
