Theft, Lake Road
On Nov. 11 several residents reported that phones they ordered were being stolen after delivery. Many were stolen in September, but due to AT&T resending their phones, they never reported the theft. Information was gathered for a report.
Possession, Lake Road
On Nov. 12 an officer stopped a driver for a traffic violation. Officers spoke with the driver, who admitted to driving with a suspended license. In addition, both the driver and passenger had outstanding warrants with neighboring agencies. The pair were both taken into custody. During a search of the car, officers found open containers of alcohol and drug paraphernalia.
Both were brought back to the police department’s jail and the driver was given field sobriety tests. The passenger, a 51-year-old Cleveland resident, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was later transported to the hospital after complaining of previous injuries.
The driver, a 51-year-old Warrensville Hts. resident was booked on his charges.
Suspension, Lake Road
On Nov. 13 officers stopped a driver near Lake Road for a traffic violation. The driver was issued a citation for driving under suspension. The 25-year-old Elyria resident will be facing charges through Rocky River Municipal Court.
