BEIRUT, SEPT 27 – Lebanon reported yesterday that the number of deaths due to Israeli attacks across the country rose to 1,540 since last October, the Agency reported. Anatolia.
The Disaster Risk Management Unit in a report stated that the number of injured has now reached 5,410 and the number of individuals evacuated and registered in official shelters increased to 77,100 as of Wednesday evening.
The report said shelters in public facilities increased to 565 including public schools, educational complexes, vocational institutes and agricultural centers.
Thousands more have left the country across Lebanese territory into Syria, and the agency estimates the actual number far exceeds the official count.
The statement also showed that in the past two days, General Security registered the travel of 15,600 Syrians and 16,130 Lebanese citizens to Syrian territory.
Regarding Israeli attacks, the report also stated that since last Monday, there have been 7,034 airstrikes or bombings, 248 phosphorus bomb attacks and 133 shooting incidents.
Israel attacked Lebanon since early Monday and killed at least 677 victims and injured more than 2,500 people, according to figures released by the Ministry of Health.
