After a month of investigation, the authorities found new clues regarding the death of the late Liam Payne in a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 16.
TMZ reported that Liam allegedly tried to free himself from the hotel room he was staying in before he died as a result of falling from the third floor.
Through closed-circuit CCTV footage, Liam was seen being taken by three hotel workers into his room before being left alone.
At the time of the incident, Liam was said to have struggled with the hotel staff for refusing to enter the room, forcing them to lock him from the outside.
The singer also threatened to escape through the balcony, but the threat was ignored by the worker.
Not only that, the glass mirror on the wall was reportedly taken out for fear of it being broken by the singer.
A few minutes later, the hotel employee contacted the emergency line because he was worried that the singer would hurt himself.
“I don’t know if he is in danger or not. He is in a room with a balcony and we are afraid of any possibility,” reported one of the hotel workers.
The theory was strengthened after the police found the singer’s bag on the second floor balcony after the incident.
However, the cause of Liam’s death has not been confirmed yet, but the police have not ruled out that it is related to drugs and alcohol.
Liam was buried in a cemetery in Amersham, Buckinghamshire near London on November 20. – Agency
