Sport: Maanum fell over and was lying on the grass in the league cup final against Chelsea almost three weeks ago. The collapse happened while the ball was somewhere else, and the incident shocked both teammates and others.

Since then, Maanum has undergone extensive tests, and the doctors found nothing wrong with her heart. Manager Jonas Eidevall has said that she could soon be expected back on the pitch, and on Sunday she was among the reserves in the Super League match against Leicester.

There was great cheering among the audience in the club’s main hall when she was substituted in the 66th minute. She came in for Stina Blackstenius.

Arsenal then led 1-0 after Beth Mead scored in the first half. With Maanum on the ball, the lead was increased twice, by Alessia Russo and Mead. Maanum was also very close to scoring herself, but she did not hit well enough at the far post after a flick from Mead.

– It would lift the roof at Emirates, wrote the BBC in its live report.

The Arsenal victory means that no one can take away the team’s top-three position.

In another game on Sunday, Manchester City beat West Ham 5-0 to go top of the table three points ahead of Chelsea, who have a game in hand. Arsenal are six points behind the leaders with three games left to play.
