Man arrested for shooting neighbor’s fence: Brunswick Hills Township Police Blotter

BRUNSWICK HILLS TOWNSHIP, Ohio

Discharging firearms, Shelton Lane

Police arrested a man at 5:42 p.m. Nov. 11 for illegally discharging a firearm. The caller told police they heard a loud banging noise near their garage door and then heard gunshots. Police found the suspect holding a shotgun and showing signs of intoxication. Two holes from a gunshot were also found in the caller’s fence. The man was arrested and taken to the Medina County Jail.

Breaking and entering, Marlee Court

A man reported a storage shed on his property broken into and $1,400 worth of items stolen from inside. There were no suspects at the time of the report.

Impaired driver, Grafton Road

An officer witnessed a driver traveling 55 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone, swerving in traffic and crossing the double yellow line at 6:51 p.m. Nov. 10. He pulled into a gas station and was questioned by police. The man failed field sobriety tests, his vehicle was towed and he was arrested and later released to a sober person.
