Crime and justice: In addition to the murders, the 54-year-old is also charged with another case of violence, burglary and attempted burglary, writes Dagbladet.

The trial is scheduled from 29 October to 7 November in the Oslo District Court.

The murders Bamer is accused of having committed took place at Sandaker in Oslo on 30 June 2023. Two men aged 68 and 75 were stabbed repeatedly and died of their injuries. Bamer has acknowledged the facts, but has not taken a position on the issue of criminal guilt.

In November 1998, an elderly couple was found murdered in their own living room at Sinsen in Oslo. The window in the veranda door was broken, and it became clear that the couple had been dead for over a day when they were found. Bamer was sentenced to 21 years in prison with ten years of probation (now custody) for this double murder in 2000.
