A man was shot Saturday night in Lemon Grove, a sheriff’s official said.
The shooting was reported about 9:45 p.m. on Lemon Grove Boulevard, north of Palm Street, Lt. Scott Roller said. Deputies responded to the scene.
A car linked to the shooting crashed or somehow came in a stop in the nearby intersection of Lemon Grove and Palm, Roller said. He did not know how the car was associated with the shooting.
The shooting victim was transported to a hospital. Roller did not know the man’s condition.
Footage from OnScene TV shows deputies placing several evidence markers near the VFW Post on Lemon Grove Boulevard, including at least one bullet casing.
