Policy: – I am seeking the trust of the party again, confirms Hussein to Aftenposten.

According to Aftenposten, it is uncertain whether Kari Elisabeth Kaski, who was in first place on Oslo SV’s list in 2021, will seek re-election.

Marian Hussein was elected from second place on the list. She will not say whether she will fight for the top spot on the list.

– I am seeking the trust of the party again. And in any case, it is the nomination committee and the nomination meeting that decide it, she says.

Hussein got a permanent seat in the Storting in 2021, after being a deputy representative since 2017. She was elected deputy leader of SV in March last year. Hussein grew up in Stovner, but was born in Somalia and came to Norway as a ten-year-old. She is a qualified social worker.
