Meloni’s party emerges victorious in the EU elections in Italy

Policy: Her party gets between 26 and 30 percent of the vote, according to the election day poll, which was carried out for the broadcaster RAI.

The center-left party PD ends up in second place with between 21 and 25 percent of the vote, according to the survey.

The Five Star Movement gets 10-14 percent, according to the election day poll, while Forza Italia, which was founded by Silvio Berlusconi, is in fourth place with 8.5-10 percent. The Lega party gets almost the same result – 8-10 percent, according to the survey.
