KINGSTON, N.Y. — Michael Franti and Spearhead, along with special guests Stephen Marley and Bombargo are set to perform a concert in Kingston this June.
Michael Franti and Spearhead, formed in 1994, is a band known for its fusion of hip-hop with other styles such as reggae, funk, and jazz. With supporting act Stephen Marley, Grammy-award winning reggae artist and son of Bob Marley, the band will perform in Kingston at Hutton Brickyards, 200 North Street, on Thursday, June 20.
The concert, sponsored by Radio Woodstock and part of Michael Franti and Spearhead’s “Togetherness Tour,” will also feature an appearance by Canadian indie pop band Bombargo.
The concert will begin at 6 p.m., and doors open at 5 p.m. Limited on-site parking is available with a parking pass, which can be purchased online alongside tickets.
