Yerevan denies Baku’s statement regarding opening fire.
The statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan that on September 5, around 09:55, the units of the RA Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of the Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the border zone, does not correspond to reality, the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia said.
Prime Minister’s staff earlier had suggested to create a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism for investigating cases of ceasefire violations and/or information about them, to which Azerbaijan has not yet responded.
Baku had spread similar messages this and previous weeks, which Yerevan denied.
