Economy and business: Between 2 and 3 p.m., customers in Eastern and Southern Norway receive a spot price of -17 øre per kilowatt hour (kWh), while customers in Western Norway receive a price of -15 øre/kWh, writes the industry website Europower.

In the two northernmost price areas in Norway, i.e. Mid-Norway and Northern Norway, you don’t get minus prices, but customers in these areas probably won’t have a headache for that reason. In the middle of the day there are three hours with zero prices, and at its highest the electricity price is only 10 øre/kWh. On average, electricity costs 4 øre/kWh on Sunday for these areas.

In Eastern Norway, Southern Norway and Western Norway, the average price will be 18 øre/kWh, 35 øre/kWh and 19 øre/kWh respectively
