BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, NOV 22 – Mitsubishi Corporation led a group of visitors consisting of four representatives from Resorttrust Corporation, Japan, to pay a courtesy call to the Brunei Chinese Chamber of Commerce (CCC) office, this afternoon.
The visit was led by the Senior Vice President, Division COO, Digital Solutions Div, Smart-Life Creation Group, Mitsubishi Corporation, Takuya Hirakuri, and accompanied by the country representative, Mitsubishi Corporation Brunei Liaison Office, Tadashi Hara.

CCC led by CCC Brunei President, Lim Han Chiong.
In his welcome speech, Lim among others noted that navigating the rapidly changing landscape of the 21st century, healthcare remains one of the concerns.
“As we all know, healthcare is the foundation of a thriving community, and innovation in this sector not only improves patient outcomes but also improves the efficiency of healthcare providers.
“With the growing trend of medical tourism, we realize that Japan has been at the forefront of integrating advanced technology and advanced medical practices into its healthcare system.
“Known for its technological prowess, Japan delivers world-class healthcare services, contributing to one of the highest life expectancies worldwide,” he added.
In addition, Lim also took the opportunity to share a brief background on CCC Brunei.
During the meeting, CCC members were presented with the introduction of a new advanced medical service known as Medical Tourism Services ie high quality medical services for the wealthy abroad.
Meanwhile, the group was also given an overview of medical tourism in Brunei such as the general medical tourism market in the country, whether Bruneians go abroad to receive medical treatment as well as the introduction of potential customers.
